The DS-85i folder inserter comes standard with a barcode reading technology to automate variable-page jobs, incorporating another layer of security that ensures the right documents are always sent to the right person.
The color touch screen and automatic job setup make DS-85i easy to use. Simply load envelopes and documents and the DS-85i will adjust all settings automatically and even save them to the memory for instant recall.
The DS-85i can be expanded from 2 to 6 stations at any time providing additional capacity.
To avoid stoppages and maximize efficiency this DS-85i folder inserter diverts duplicate or faulty document before folding white the system is still running. The high capacity vertical stacker will reduce incidences of unloading, thus enabling other tasks to be done in the meantime. It requires less handling and makes it possible to unload up to 500 envelopes very 8 minutes while running at maximum speed. The DS-85i will adjust all settings automatically and even save them in the memory for instant recall.
Options include barcode recognition (BCR), optical mark recognition (OMR), mail piece production control (MPPC), short feeders, different exits, output management software (OMS) and mailing system interface.
