Since 1966, Walz has been a local family owned and operated business with headquarters in Central Illinois. Walz was started as a small independent scale sales and service organization, by Fred and Patricia Walz, and has grown over the years. As our customers have grown, we have grown with them by providing business automation solutions that meet their unique needs. As technology changed and improved our product and service portfolio increased, and Walz expanded with the mailing, labeling, and automation divisions. Today, thousands of businesses across the Midwest rely on Walz for their business automation needs. As an independent dealer for some of the world’s leading manufacturers, we can offer the solution that fits your organizations budget, specifications, and support requirements.
WHAT WE DO
Walz has three divisions that are focused exclusively on their respective products and services. There are some projects that require collaboration between these divisions so that we can bring all of our extensive product and industry knowledge together. Walz Labeling focuses on providing quality products and supplies for product identification and data collection. From custom pre-printed labels to warehouse management solutions Walz helps to automate your business processes. Walz Mailing is focused on designing and implementing flexible, scalable solutions for facilitating outbound and inbound business communications, whether physical or digital, anytime, anywhere. This includes some of industry's most advanced postage meters and mailing machines. Walz Automation helps to design, build, and service the highest quality intelligent material handling automation solutions that improve our customer’s capabilities and deliver industry-leading return on investment. From conveying, dimensioning, check-weighing, print and apply, picking and packing, shipping, sortation, and warehouse control systems to the industry changing IBOD, Walz has you covered.

Since our founding, we have made decisions for tomorrow based on how they will affect our customers. This is a principal that we have embraced and continually use to guide our organization into the future. You will not find another organization that is as focused on customer service as Walz, it is our guiding principal. This focus on customer service is present during every transaction with our company, from the first time you call, during the discovery meeting, through the sales and installation process, and even during the unfortunate times when you need to discontinue your existing relationship with Walz.
We always do what's right by our customers. It hurts sometimes, but we do what's right when making decisions. We go fishing with our customers. We go to church with our customers.
