Datalogic QuickScan QD2400

The QuickScan reader series is Datalogic's value line of general purpose handheld data collection products. The QuickScan QD2400 E 2D (E for enhanced) corded linear imaging reader is perfect for use in retail (POS) and office environments plus activities associated with couriers and postal services.

The QD2400 E 2D is small, lightweight and its ergonomic design is comfortable to use during daily operations. It offers snappy reading performance especially on hard to read bar codes and is capable of reading a wide range of symbologies - from typical linear bar codes as well as complex 2D bar codes displayed on a screen of a mobile device or loyalty card. 

This scanner/imager consists of a soft, dark red illumination combined with two blue LED triangles pointing at the targeted bar code.  The QD2400 E 2D reader also features Datalogic’s exclusive patented ‘Green Spot’ for good read feedback directly on the code. When in Stand Mode, the Green Spot remains on to show the operator where to position the code for quick and intuitive reading.


The QuickScan 2400 Series of corded versions include the QD2400 and the QW2400 area imagers, while the 2400 cordless scanners include the QBT2400 and QM2400 area imagers.  The QuickScan Lite QW2400 is specifically designed for reading long and truncated 1D codes and larger 2D codes from close distances.
