The Zebra ZD421 desktop printer is available in a thermal transfer (roll ribbon), direct thermal printing (no ribbon) and a ribbon cartridge model with simple ribbon loading. More status icons maximize uptime by making using the printer easier than ever to use. 

The ZD421-HC can be turned into a portable printer on a cart or with optional carry case and battery.
